What are some practical suggestions for those who have lost a loved one in death?

It is comforting to know that those who have passed away are in no pain (Eccl. 9:5) and that the Bible holds out a hope of resurrection. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15)

Even so, it is natural to grieve the loss of a loved one because we are still human with normal feelings. (1 Thess. 4:13, 14) Even Jesus wept over the death of his friend Lazarus. (John 11:30-38)
