Why do Jehovah Witnesses go door to door in twos?

Jehovah's Witnesses follow Jesus' example. When Jesus originally designated ones to further the preaching work, he “sent them forth by twos.” (Luke 10:1, 2) Also, by working together, these disciples could learn from and encourage one another.

Eccl. 4:9, 10 also supports a dual arrangement by saying: “two are better than one.”
